David Ivar has designed and painted all his album covers with a unique style of ink and painting. He designed all his tour merchandizing from day 1. It is how he got noticed and started to be appreciated as a visual artists in his own rights.
He has had many exhibitions, internationally, in as prestigious places as FIAC and ART BASEL and is represented by a Parisian gallery of International renown.
He has been commissioned many times by magazines (Playboy, Officiel, Plan B, Magic, Greenpoint Gazette)
He was even commissioned to have his own line of clothing for the brand PETIT BATEAU, using his drawings, and his own cameras with drawings by the brand LOMOGRAPHY

In 2015, he and his life-partner Marion Hanania wrote a book of poetry and drawings for children Diable D’Où Viennent-Ils? (Where The Hell Did They Come From) that was published by prestigious French Maison D’Editions Gallimard and nominated by one of France’s most coveted book prizes Les Pépites De Montreuil
